What can I do Lord?
I’ve got the desire. Want to do what I used to admire. Never thought I’d Be one to share, But how can I not? So many unaware… How can I show them You care? How can I show You are there? To You faith is precious, Believe without seeing. Too many like Thomas, Seeing is believing. In part even I, Till I felt You. Changed forever, By love that is true. But what can I say To the deaf and blind? To ones that don’t seek And therefore don’t find? They don’t know You, And many don’t want to. Spurned and discarded, Almost crucified anew. Thunderous warnings, Rain drops like tears. Yet nobody fears As Your coming nears. Ants work too much, Grasshoppers play. Yet nobody hears What You have to say. Your mercy and compassion Are why You delay. Wishing all to be saved Before that final day. What’s unfamiliar, Easy to dismiss. Relativism say Not my business. You don’t have to listen, We are all free. But God loves you, It’s not about me. When man is blind, As I used to be, What can one do To make them see? Comments are closed.
