God is love,
Jesus loves you. I know you don’t believe me, But it’s true. Never thought I’d be The one to say it. Can I really? Must I? The world’ll think I’ve lost it. It’s technically serious, But brings a smile to my face. You look at me and wonder, Is that really the case? What do you say after? Thank you? Okay? Uh… No thanks, see you later? What’s the point, who’ll believe? Someone said it to me once, But it was after I’d felt it. Undeserved, I said I know. Nice, but felt awkward a bit. I haven’t actually, until now. Written, but not out loud. But while He does love, You can’t sin and be proud. We’re all sinners, But repent and He forgives. Mature in Christ or beginners, Free gift for those that want it. He doesn’t want us to burn, He mourns for the lost. Rejoices when we repent, For your soul paid the cost. What would you do If someone said it to you? Unless you’ve felt it, How do you know it’s true? All I can say is what I feel, Just know that it’s real. Whatever your deal, Know He can heal. He loved me first, And now I love Him. If you feel at your worst, There’s hope for you yet. God is love, Jesus loves you. I know you don’t believe me, But it’s true. Comments are closed.
