Climb a mountain,
Run through a forest, Watch as eggs hatch From a dove’s nest. In colorful flowers You dress the meadows, Send us the rain, Feed the sparrows. The work of Your hands Such a joy to behold. Cannot imagine more, Yet heaven’s foretold. Make leaves dance among Birds and crickets chirping. Paint lilac sunsets over Vast oceans splashing. What is man that You Pay him any mind? What good in us Could You possibly find? Nobody is perfect But Your only Son. None but You is good, It is us that have won. When we choose You, Better than a lottery. Riches and status, Nothing but vanity. No matter the majesty, The gold or the jewels, On earth or in heaven, Treasure He that rules. He made it all, Glory be to God. Even tiny details Leave me awed. Take to a microscope, See double-helix DNA; In cells enzymes and Nucleotides in RNA. Proteins that would not Work Were a single amino acid Missing. Yet the infinite and curious Creatures You created, From anteater to platypus, PEBBLES to what’s awaited. Comments are closed.
