To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven. A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance (Ecclesiastes 3:1, 4).
As for you brothers, do not grow weary in doing good (2 Thessalonians 3:13) Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest (Matthew 11:28) Therefore, my beloved brothers, be firm, steadfast, always fully devoted to the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58) The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace (Exodus 14:14) And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose (Romans 8:28) But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you (Matthew 6:33) Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect (Romans 12:2) My sheep hear my voice; I know them, and they follow me (John 10:27) For the love of God is this, that we keep his commandments. And his commandments are not burdensome, for whoever is begotten by God conquers the world. And the victory that conquers the world is our faith. Who indeed is the victor over the world but the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? (1 John 5:3-5) And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free (John 8:32) 11 Better one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere. Better the threshold of the house of my God than a home in the tents of the wicked. 12 For a sun and shield is the Lord God, bestowing all grace and glory. The Lord withholds no good thing from those who walk without reproach. 13 O Lord of hosts, blessed the man who trusts in you (Psalm 84:11-13) There is no fear in love, but perfect love drives out fear because fear has to do with punishment, and so one who fears is not yet perfect in love (1 John 4:18) For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7) Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. (Proverbs 3:5-6) And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ (Colossians 3:23-24) For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother (Matthew 12:50) Though I thought I had toiled in vain, and for nothing, uselessly spent my strength, Yet my reward is with the Lord, my recompense is with my God (Isaiah 49:4) For I know well the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans for your welfare, not for woe; plans to give you a future full of hope (Jeremiah 29:11) In his mind a man plans his course, but the Lord directs his steps (Proverbs 16:9) As each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of God’s varied grace (1 Peter 4:10) |
