Wanted to walk on water,
But I felt myself sinking. You asked, “Where is your faith?” Hidden by dark thinking. Anxiety, worry, stress… Why do I fear? It’s not as much when I know You are near. I had nowhere to turn But to the God who knows And works out all things For the one that follows. I had a hard time trusting, And I asked You why. It’s not always easy, But You didn’t pass me by. Through infinite miles, Walking with me, Through the trials, You haven’t let me go. When you want to quit, Though fear may resurface, As life’s storms hit, Know that God steers the ship.
